A new study at the University of Maryland, Baltimore is a big step in dental health care for young children.
The study was conducted by researchers at the dental school at the university. The study found that a “prevention group” would be more than eight times protected from another group from cavity causing bacteria, if they received preventative treatments at a young age. These preventative treatments would put the child in a position to have substantially better oral health later in their life.
